The Zoning Board hears and decides appeals and requests for interpretations of the Zoning map or Zoning Code. It grants use or bulk variances but only where such relief can be granted without substantial detriment to the public good and shall not substantially impair the intent and purpose of the Master Plan or Zoning plan. They may also direct issuances of zoning permits.
