SAFETY: Special Waste Collection and Recycling

There are several items that can be extremely dangerous when thrown in the normal trash or recycling and pose a danger to those handling waste and can/have caused damage to the plants in which this waste is processed.


These items include oil based paints, stains, motor oil, antifreeze, lead acid, all rechargeable batteries, fire extinguishers, CFL bulbs, fluorescent lights & ballasts, solvents, pesticides, cleaners, kerosene, herbicides, gasoline, turpentine, varnish, fertilizers, rat poisons, auto & floor care products, weed killers, lighter fluid, photographic & pool chemicals and ESPECIALLY propane tanks and compressed items.

Gloucester County Solid Waste Complex, 493 Monroeville Rd (Rt 694), S. Harrison, NJ

SEPTEMBER 23, 2017 - 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Rain or Shine)


Gloucester County Road Department, 1200 N. Delsea Dr (Rt 47), Clayton, NJ

OCTOBER 21, 2017 - 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Rain or Shine)
